It took me a while.
Because this wasn’t just about launching a website. It was about bringing two parts of myself into one place.
For years, I felt split.
Creative Director for brands like Google, BMW, Zalando. Pitches, campaigns, Cannes awards, late-night decks.
And then…
Ocean Creative Director.
Wind, salt, startups, NGOs.
On voyages with orcas, the Cousteaus, and 3-star chefs.
Creating bridges between people and the ocean, on and off the water.
Some days I pitched to CMOs.
Others, I shared stories with fishermen.
At times, it felt like a contradiction.
Two lives. Two separate tides.
But lately, I’ve come to see it differently.
It’s not either/or. It’s and.
Everything I’ve learned from the ad world: the speed, the storytelling, the curiosity, the constant reinvention, it feeds the ocean side.
And the ocean? It brings clarity. Perspective. A reminder to go deeper, not just faster.

Exciting News! 🌊📽 Happy to announce the release of my first longform documentary, a beautiful journey that follows French waterwoman @oliviapiana as she breaks the record for the longest distance surfed without a sail or engine! 284,7 KM in 14:36 minutes. All to put a spotlight on the fragile condition of Portugal's coastline.

Less than a year ago, Olivia embarked on this daring expedition along Portugal's coast, driven solely by the waves and her relentless determination. Her journey transcended physical achievement; it became a powerful protest against the exploitation of Portugal's stunning shoreline.

One of my favorite moments in the documentary is when Olivia expresses that she was never truly alone on this journey, feeling the love and support from all who believed in her cause and mission.

Filming this documentary presented some of the toughest challenges I've faced. Over 14 hours of shooting from a dinghy, we evaded a pod of playful, mayhem-causing orcas, battled 3-meter swells, ran out of fuel in the ocean, and lost contact with Olivia for a critical 45 minutes just before nightfall. I've never felt such exhaustion and relief after a shoot.

“Pezconocidos” is a path to finally end Discarded Fish. ✊
Nearly 10 million tonnes of good fish are dumped into the ocean every year.  To change this sad reality, Michelin starred Chef Ángel León has embarked on a meaningful project we have named “Pezconocidos”. A gastronomic project made in collaboration with the fishery Grupo Nueva Pescanova and Compass Group with which they seek to enhance the value of all fishing resources and make 100% use of them.

People keep telling me; I love Panthalassa. But what do you do? 

Let me try answering.

When I started Panthalassa 10 years ago, Panthalassa became
a creative playground where I could express my love for the ocean. With the help of incredibly talented collaborators, we were soon roaming the oceans, telling stories for NGOs, producing our own films, creating sculptures, and filling our digital ocean magazine with hundreds of inspirational stories. We were a bit of everything. A publishing company, an NGO, a creative studio, a collective of artists, and a production company. 

Fast forward 10 years and people (including my mom) are still figuring out what Panthalassa stands for. If I wanted to have a simple answer to that,  we needed a  reset. A fresh start with a clear vision. And that is: We are the ocean storytellers.

We’ve come to know the ocean inside out, and the many different industries around it. From gastronomy and fisheries, to activism, watersports and lifestyle. So if you’re a brand, your story involves the ocean and you love great storytelling. Let’s talk. 

We are Panthalassa. The Ocean Production Company.

Grain of Hope - Angel Leon's Discovery

So honored to have been commissioned together with @TIME Magazine to tell the story of Angel_Leon's revolutionary Discovery.

The film “Grain of Hope” tells the journey of @Angel_Leon_aponiente quest to harvest rice from the sea. A story just recently published in TIME Magazine (cutt.ly/rjmWxM5). The short film is a look inside the creative mind of Angel León, the Michelin Starred Chef, also known as Chef of the Sea. It narrates his personal journey and biggest discovery, one that transcends his restaurant and could change the way we will feed ourselves in the future. The marine grain is capable of delivering immense nutritional and ecological benefits, making it the first “superfood” from the ocean. But not only that, in addition, these crops contribute to carbon drawdowns, and as such, to the mitigation of harmful substances that are causing climate change. This amazing breakthrough can help us both, fighting world hunger and climate change. Two of humanity’s biggest challenges.
