Yesterday my photos were showing at theSignals and Presence exhibition by @monadnyc

The theme asked how we leave traces of presence in digital spaces. Photography has become a complete digital world and I’ve been inspired by my partner to consider how I, as a gay person, navigate the subtle signals and nuances of queer existence today.

I keep coming back to the fact that even when I feel suffocated by the amount of information and pain and fear and rage and hatred in the world, my near constant awareness of it, I can still find a home and a deep intimacy with the person I care about. When words fail me, I’m grateful to have amazing models, an encouraging space, and a camera.
