New place = new stamps 🙌🏽🇪🇸
This time it was Frias in the north of Spain, where I explored this incredible medieval town with @schez.art during the festival @what_is_music_wim

This past Christmas I gifted my sister this illustration that now is hanging from her wall. She told me every times she looks at it she found new bits. This is the best compliment for me as I love to create illustrations that keep on giving surprises, like movie that you re-watch and find new elements you missed the first time :)

So, I made this :) While I was drawing a part of me was thinking “this is shaping out nicely, you should film the process, no body will see it if you don’t” but I couldn’t be bothered. Will you believe if I tell you I didn’t sketch anything before? It was all improvised, I just had the idea of the moon it a box they came while I was popping for some reason. I’m quite proud of that :)

Finishing our visit to Bariloche, my home town in Argentina. Fran and I spent a month surrounded by breathtaking beauty of its forests, mountains and lakes. We even found some lovely stamps courtesy of the bugs and worms that left their path im the wood of a fallen tree :) The music of the video is by my good friend and fantastic artist @muro.julian

(Ups! Uploaded the unfinished version by mistake! Here is the final one ) A few weeks ago Fran and I did a 12k kayak trip to a lovely beach. We spent the day fooling around and playing with nature. Such a good day.

Fist A4 size of these ink series I have been working on! What do we name it?

So, this is not my favourite one of this improvised dream worlds I have been working on, but I finally managed to record the improvisation process properly.
For many people the biggest creative block is “not knowing what to draw” I hope this can inspire people to just start and trust you’ll figure it out as you go. A good tip is to make bold decisions with the first lines but do leave some blanks as may be later you want to have something in the foreground. You can always fill them up later. I hope it makes sense. I might make a voice over video later :)

So I’m working on a new series of hand made postcards and I mentioned to Fran that it would be cool to have them animated ( she is secretly really good at it) A couple of hours later she comes up with this amazing thing!! Absolutely love it.

I draw in many styles but lately I have been really enjoying this improvised ink drawings. I don’t really sketch on them apart from the little people not to mess them up. But the rest just comes as I go and the end result is unpredictable. There are more coming soon!DM me if you’d like to get some!

A few months ago, I woke up in the middle of the night with an idea buzzing in my brain.

I had just finished a big job for a client, I was finally free, and I knew I wanted my next project to be something meaningful and personal. But I was struggling to find the right direction. Suddenly one night at 4am I woke up with the vision of what I am presenting to you right now. The Blob Game.

Over the years, I’ve had the chance to attend countless festivals, camps, and workshops, mostly focused on movement and Contact Improvisation. In those spaces, I often invited people, complete strangers gathered for a different purpose, to try something fun and creative in their free time. I would pull out some pages, watercolors, and pens, and explain to them how to create Blobs.

The Blob Game is my natural response to the joy, curiosity, and transformation I’ve witnessed in people after just a few days of playing. Their enthusiasm and renewed love for drawing and painting inspired me to bring together everything I’ve learned from observing so many people exploring this creative dynamic for the first time.

My vision is to reach as many people as possible with this practice, so please share it with your friends if you have a chance!
