There are of course some exceptions here, and money isnt the only value source we use to balance our decisions… however if you are tryna do this for a living, then its certainly a conversation you need to have with yourself and your peers!

For example your local, grassroots jazz club that gives a platform to creative improvised and original music that has hit its overhead and is just scraping by, but gives immense cultural and artistic value to your scene/community, go easy on them.
