Round Top Fête and Encore asked for one thing: a night that felt distinctly Texan, head to toe, without tipping into costume.⁠

The evening earned it. Cowboy hats and boots at the door. Signature cocktails poured under string lights. Shopping, dinner under an open Texas sky, an after-party with live music and dancing - and a Ferris wheel turning slowly in the background, in case the night hadn't already made its point.⁠

Our piece of the night: the invitation suite and the on-site branding that carried it through. Bar menus. Custom patterned pieces. The small touchpoints that quietly tied the welcome moment to the very last dance.⁠

The perfect theme of “HollyWould” - a magical land where we all do what Holly would do was dreamed up by @ashleyaduffy (said bestie) and the rest was history. This “Chosen family tree” was a labor of love and creativity. The bride imagined an area of the wedding displaying pictures of all their guests with the couple (yes, she’s precious). Displaying that many photos can be difficult to make look cohesive so we toyed with different options - she didn’t want the pictures enclosed in notes, we needed the display to feel like it belonged in the wedding design, and we wanted an emotional impact for the guests. Sometimes the best creativity comes from constraints and I love a challenge. I wanted to think of a place where lots of pictures of people are displayed simultaneously in a group and it finally occurred to me… family trees 🌳 there are gorgeous illustrations of branches with oval portraits arranged to show lineage and connection. I knew it would be perfect, especially since this couple’s intimate wedding was built to make guests feel special and, not least of all, because their venue is filled with the most gorgeous enormous trees (one of which they were married under).
