Over the last five years I’ve been making a film about the lives of some of my friends from Cali, Colombia.

They are known as Melomanos. They get together, play records and tell stories about music.

They are cultural gatekeepers and preserve what is known as ‘Musica Latina’, an art form that without them would cease to exist.

I’m currently in post production and hope to have the film completed by the end of the year. ESP- Durante los últimos cinco años o más he estado haciendo una película sobre la vida de mis amigos de Cali, Colombia. Son conocidos como Melómanos. Se reúnen, escuchan vinilos y cuentan historias sobre música.

Son guardianes culturales y preservan una forma de arte que se llama ‘música latina’, la cual no existiría sin el trabajo de ellos.

Actualmente estoy en post producción y espero terminar la película a finales de año. Estoy tratando de recaudar fondos y mostrar la trayectoria de este hermoso movimiento dedicado a la preservación y celebración de la historia, la música y la cultura a través de los vinilos.
