So the time has come for me to hang up my canoe paddle and move on….
I suffered an injury back in November 2022 which after a misdiagnosis and incorrect rehab for 6 months meant that I had to take a step back and rehab right from the beginning again, the correct way.
Due to the scar tissue damage it became painful and very uncomfortable to be in the high kneeling position so I made the final decision in January 2024 to stop canoeing for good.
Thank you to everyone at British Canoeing, Devizes Canoe Club and anyone who I have trained with along the way over the last 6 years for giving me experiences that I will never forget.
Now I move onto more exciting things in a different watersport after being selected for this years GB Premier Dragon Boat squad. Bring on the European Championships in July 💪🏼🙌🏼

I have lots to share of this beautiful wedding morning but this one is just about Sammy.

Before I even met her, I knew she was a lovely person and I wasn’t wrong at all. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know Sammy and she truly does deserve all the happiness. 🩷
This angel does dragonboat rowing (reason for the reel music 😂) as a hobbie and normally braids her hair, so it’s out the way of her sport. So, I loved creating this beautiful updo for Sammy on her wedding day. It screamed pretty and elegant 😍💞

On the run up to the wedding, lots of things happened within the planning process that were very stressful for Sammy. But she took it all in her stride and focused on her love and it shown on the day 🥹
Also on the wedding day itself there was some stress and she just ploughed through unphased and happy as she deserved to be. Moral of the story here is : #bemoresammy 😂

I couldn’t adore this girly more if I tried!! The loveliest girl 🩷 Thank you so much @sammy_sullivan for having me as your hairstylist. I wish you every happiness in your married life together 🥰❤️

One of the best parts of my job is I meet wonderful humans .. just like Sammy. Forever grateful ✨✨✨

@kingscotebarn just opened a brand new hilltop ceremony location on their grounds, and it is absolutely stunning. Open skies, sweeping Cotswold views, and that feeling like the rest of the world has completely disappeared.

@sammy_sullivan and @teddy172 were the first couple to say “I do” up there — and yes, they were both Sullivans long before the wedding. I’ve filmed at Kingscote Barn more times than I can count, and this new spot might just be my favourite thing about it.

Yesterday at @kingscotebarn , and honestly — this one had everything. 🥂🤍

@sammy_sullivan and @teddy172 , where do we even start. Two Sullivans who matched on Tinder, spent their first weeks apart in Covid isolation wondering if the other one even existed… only to discover they already shared a surname. You really couldn’t write it. 😂 And then he got her up a freezing mountain at sunrise with a can of Pepsi Max and proposed on top of Pen Y Fan. Absolute legend. 🏔️

Yesterday they finally got to celebrate with everyone they love most — a rustic DIY wedding down in the valley at one of our favourite barns in the Cotswolds. Canon flares after the ceremony, a magician roaming the reception, sprinklers at golden hour, and Soho Disco bringing the night to life. Every single moment was full of laughter and love, and that’s exactly what Sammy and Ted wanted.

Kingscote Barn, you never miss. Tucked away in the Gloucestershire countryside, this place is pure magic — peaceful, intimate, and beautiful in every direction. We had the best day. 🎬✨
