Total Accord Fest is back June 3rd through 20th at venues throughout San Francisco, with artists like Brijean and The Seshen plus a stacked local lineup. We’re breaking down all 13 shows and why they matter.

On Thursday, June 4th, things start a little softer out on the patio at El Rio. Total Accord teams up with BFF.FM for a happy hour show with Sarah Coolidge and Caroline Wolfson, plus BBQ from NVR OVR.

Sarah Coolidge’s songs feel like flipping through a secret diary. Indie rock meets folk, with lyrics that zoom in on everyday moments and somehow make them hit a little harder.

Caroline Wolfson brings a different kind of stillness. Her voice pulls you in first, then the writing lands, reflective, sharp, and quietly heavy in the best way.

It’s low-key, it’s intimate, and it’s the kind of early evening show where you can actually take it all in, while enjoying some delicious barbecue while surrounded by fellow music lovers on El Rio’s beautiful patio.

If you’re easing into the festival, this is a pretty great place to start.

Inspired by their love of early 2000s indie rock and the meandering lyrics of folk, Coolidge writes intimate songs about trips to the local thrift store, gender confusion, sports fans, accidental injuries, and the fear of losing the people you love. Coolidge released the Sports Fan EP in 2020 on Madeline Kenney’s Copper Mouth Records, followed by her debut album Call Me When You Get There in 2023, working with Maryam Qudus (SPACEMOTH, LA LUZ), Meric Long (THE DODOS), and Beau Sorenson (Death Cab for Cutie). Coolidge is set to release WITCH, a double EP, with Rocks In Your Head Records in 2025.

Caroline Wolfson, San Francisco based singer-songwriter, was born in Long Beach and spent most of her childhood in Paris, France. Her haunting voice and witty, insightful lyrics explore themes that are deeply personal yet universal. She has performed in many local San Francisco and Los Angeles venues.
