The Dr. Shamawn Wright Scholarship Fund is officially open.

This scholarship was created to support students who have turned hardship into purpose and are committed to building bridges for the next generation. 💚

We know the journey to college isn’t always easy. Many students face challenges that go unseen—but resilience, leadership, and purpose deserve to be recognized and invested in.

This opportunity is about more than tuition. It’s about helping students persist, grow, graduate, and continue making an impact in their communities.

Scholarship funds can help cover:
• Tuition & fees
• Books & supplies
• Housing
• Transportation
• Basic needs

Eligibility Requirements:
✔️ Minimum 3.0 GPA
✔️ Accepted to or enrolled in a college/university
✔️ Completed application
✔️ High school senior

Applicants can choose between:
✍️ A Written Essay + Recorded Testimony
OR
🌱 A Legacy Project contribution to the next generation

📅 Application Window:
May 5th – May 25th

🏆 Scholarship finalists will be welcomed to our Annual Founders Dinner Gala where the winner will be announced.
