What’s one thing that you bring everywhere with you for your dogs?

You can always find us with:
- a collar and leash
- a first aid kit (for the dogs and for me)
- a bit of an overload of treats
- a harness and a weather related jacket (these two get cold if the wind breezes lol)
- a @ryokeninstinct adventure ready bar (or two… or five)

I really like that these bars come in releasable packaging, are made with limited ingredients that are sustainably sourced, and that they’re pre scored so you can break little bits off to use as reward treats. They’re packed with protein and good fats that help to replenish dogs after a lot of activity, which can help with muscle recovery 🙌🏼

If you had to choose one protein for a @ryokeninstinct everyday mini, what would it be?

Hex and Kilo are the least helpful teat subjects. When it comes to Ryōken Instinct bars, they love absolutely everything that Martha makes! But I think their favourite mini bars so far have been the goat or the quail (who remembers the 24 protein advent calendar?!).

Everyday Minis are so versatile and we use them for just about everything, which is why I always keep a stock of them! From training treats, food puzzles and enrichment, meal toppers… the list goes on!

Ryōken Instinct also makes Adventure Ready Bars; these have been a staple in our life for over 3 years now. They’re what I grab for longer days, hikes, sports training and more demanding training sessions… anything where the dogs are working extra hard and need more fuel.

The holidays turned into a (MUCH needed) social media detox. New Year’s turned into MLK weekend. Which somehow turned into February. Suddenly we realized we had been MIA for over a month 🫣

Ever been attacked by your dog because you were taking too long to give them their treat?
I have for @ryokeninstinct adventure ready bars many times💀
During this hike Martha captured some of the funniest photos of my dogs absolutely destroying me for the bars. Haze was attacking from behind as Ember tried to grab from the front…. My dogs are big on team work let me tell you😂
