The last one is probably one of my favourite shots :)

These are all clips that I shot in Zambia. Some in Nsobe, some in Mutinondo, Kabwe, …

Looking back at all the footage I have from this trip… it’s so much that I almost don’t know where to start 😅 I realised that every clip is an important memory so I wanted to make this to remind myself of that.

I came up with the concept of this video a while ago. Wanting to create a cinematic style reel about looking back at summer using a vieuwmaster 🙃 and it’s exactly what I had in mind. It reminds me of video postcards, and that’s what I intended it to be.

I quite liked making this one so perhaps I’ll make some more… sharing some memories.

Bucket shot!

Something I’ve wanted to do for a while now, hike up a volcano and get a drone shot of the fumes coming out of the crater.

That goal is nog (partly) achieved! I got the shot! Just didn’t hike all the way up as the road was blocked 2km away from the crater. Because the volcano is too active at the moment 🫢

Either way I hiked up as close as I could possibly get and sent up the drone - the result speaks for itself.

Makes me even more exited to see what the videos look like!

Next time with lava coming out? 😅🌋

3 days of cycling trough “The Wild Beauty”, aka Montenegro. 🇲🇪 We cycled trough Forrest’s, gravel roads, snow, … and did a lot of climbing! All in preparation for Rwanda, later this year.

Safe to say, it was a pretty successful edition. Everything is wrapped up so tomorrow we can relax and try to find some pelicans @jeroen.leen 🤣

🔥 Stem Het Vlam Gods naar een award!

We zijn genomineerd voor een Kortom Award met onze wervingscampagne Het Vlam Gods. Ons doel was om Gentenaars warm te maken voor een job bij de brandweer. Dat is gelukt: er solliciteerden 4 keer meer Gentenaars. En ook 4 keer meer vrouwen. 💪

We zijn fier op het resultaat en hoe we het behaald hebben. Dit was het werk van een team. Typisch brandweer. Van idee tot transport, we deden het zelf.

En als we het zelf niet konden, dan vroegen we het aan Gents talent. Hulde aan tekenaar @happymiel4 en videograaf @runederuyck. 🫡

At least that’s what it feels like. Inspired by the works of @chrisburkard and @benjaminhardman I took a detour to go and capture some Glacial rivers in Iceland.

Absolutely no regrets. This was incredibly special to witness.

Let’s just say I want to go back as soon as possible 😅
