Some time ago I was given the chance to assist the photographer @pascalrafael and the videographer @alimo.studio and to shoot some BTS during a @maisonghazou production.

Being used to being in charge or supervising almost everything when it comes to my own shoots, it was a very interesting experience to be part of a team in somebody else's production, where my functions were more bounded.
Not having to pay attention to absolutely everything, including technical aspects, would change my attitude towards the shoot and give me the headspace to produce a different type of input for the photographer and the videographer than I would usually produce during one of my shoots 🤷🏻‍♂️🗣️

Therefore, it's not a surprise for me that I felt so comfortable, and this can be told, in my opinion, just by watching this BTS video 😎🎥

Een terugblik op de previewdag van Het Warenhuis en de opening van de Meesterverbinding expo ✨

23 makers, kunst- en designprofessionals, open ateliers, artist talks, art tours en een gebouw vol werk, experiment en ontmoeting.

Tijdens de preview kregen bezoekers als eersten een kijkje in de Meesterverbinding expositie en de wereld van De Hoop. Een dag vol gesprekken, nieuwe connecties en uiteenlopende praktijken uit kunst, design en ambacht.

Een avond voor in de boeken! Een bonte verzameling aan mensen op één foto. Vanavond stonden Just, Engel, Surya, Robian, Christo, Urbz, DJ DNS en Blits on stage. En moest de Murstratus, terwijl hij dacht een avondje te komen chillen, aan de slag en de avond presenteren. De geslaagde avond was inmiddels voorbij.. we werden met een lach de backstage uit gebonjoured.. de helden die aanwezig waren werden nog even op de foto vastgelegd. Ook twee diehard Engel & Just fans waren aanwezig. Deze twee, maar ook de P3 medewerkster moesten ons joinen. Het was dope, maar vooral enorm gezellig. 👌🏼

This recent photoshoot awakened in me the energy of creation and experimentation that had somehow fallen asleep while I was accepting life’s challenges and developing different parts of my life and personality.

Life can bring many challenges, but it’s so much better when there are things you can create together with talented people! ❤️
