During the darkest periods of my life I found one of the hardest obstacles to overcome was being able to talk to someone about the hurt and frustration I was experiencing, for fear of being a burden or appearing weak.

Thankfully now I’m able to appreciate that allowing myself to be vulnerable, honest and open in talking about my own mental health was key to being able to work through that time, and I will forever encourage others to do the same.

I’m have endless gratitude for the people in my life who listened and supported me while I sought professional and medical help.

Make sure you look after yourselves, don’t be afraid to reach out for support, and check in with your friends. Remember you’re never alone in it.

During the darkest periods of my life I found one of the hardest obstacles to overcome was being able to talk to someone about the hurt and frustration I was experiencing, for fear of being a burden or appearing weak.

Thankfully now I’m able to appreciate that allowing myself to be vulnerable, honest and open in talking about my own mental health was key to being able to work through that time, and I will forever encourage others to do the same.

I’m have endless gratitude for the people in my life who listened and supported me while I sought professional and medical help.

Make sure you look after yourselves, don’t be afraid to reach out for support, and check in with your friends. Remember you’re never alone in it.
