TIME FOR A REST!Ok Lord, I hear you.After Rhett got hurt a couple of weeks ago we rehabilitated his shoulder and allowed him to get on this last weekend.”Gypsy Jane” was a little juicy and went to jerking on him.Timing was hard to get and Rhett didn’t have the best dismount on his riding arm and neck.The result unfortunately is a dislocated collarbone and partially separated SC joint.Our prayer was answered that there was no broken bones. It didn’t seem like much in the arena, but it was enough that he couldn’t continue to Rodeo the rest of the weekend. We are going to take a couple of weeks off and rest. He’s absolutely not happy about it because he wants to ride in the clinic this upcoming weekend. “Champions have to sit out sometimes too” is what I told him.Cheer on some of your buddies to achieve their goals.I’m extremely thankful for my boys.They are an inspiration to me.Humbled to be Rhett’s dad.#bareback #cowboy #grindmindset #embracethejourney #staycentered

Angels come in so many forms.I’m a firm believer in Angels on both sides of the veil.Rhett was able to hug this one. Pete has been there for Rhett through his journey in Bareback riding.He’s one of the Angels in the first ride.Pete and his Blue roan were right there to put Rhett out of danger and save him for injury so we can do it again today.I’m thankful for all the Pickup Men who are in the Arena of life there to rush in at times of crisis.#rodeo #barebackrider #thankful #staycentered
