Next Friday, March 13, I’ll be showing this new piecenew and two others at @smushgallery in Jersey City.

The show is curated by @njconservation and proceeds from artwork sales will be donated to support their conservation work here in New Jersey.

Artists in the show will also be trading and selling collectible bird cards made just for the event — a small flock of handmade pieces circulating for the night.

Come through, see the work, trade a card, and hang from 6-9pm!

I’m stokedto share a new project I’m part of—my artwork is included in a trading card set of New Jersey birds created by the New Jersey Conservation Foundation (@njconservation). The 122-card set features birds found throughout the state, all illustrated by New Jersey artists.

I chose to illustrate the American Goldfinch, our state bird. Goldfinches are a symbol of resilience and steady optimism, qualities that feel connected to New Jersey’s landscape and the people who call it home. With the state’s active birding community, I wanted to highlight a species many residents know well.

Each pack contains 10 random cards from the set. A tax-deductible donation of $70 receives four packs, and individual packs are available for $10 at any NJCF event. Link for donations is in my bio.
