a couple weeks ago I went to New York to help produce Harmony Korine's "Baby Invasion" premiere by making an audioreactive version of the film that Harmony could play and unravel on the fly. this self-reacting version of the film was live-remixed on four of the six screens on offer. it was a blast working with the @edglrd team, huge thank you to Harmony for the opportunity to make something fun and visceral. go read the recap on Bushwick Daily dot com and go stream "Baby Invasion" on VOD.

i almost always work alone, and don’t post about work stuff often (or ever) but this one was too wild to not say something about.

the weekend of feb 18th 2022, my 30th birthday, i was summoned to sync a heart rate monitor with ableton playback of a heartbeat sound. i said yes immediately: i feel like the unsung importance of a heartbeat as our universal metronome should be discussed more, and live data feedback fascinates me. i made the programs speak to each other and programmed the heartbeat sound. days later, after tweaking and finalizing, hearing it shake the seats of marlins park had me at a complete loss for words. it streamed to 50 IMAX theaters across the country for hours. oh, and seeing the classic misspelling of my name in the credits. cute and fun.
