We've got a big celebration on our hands with multiple Fixing Factory anniversaries and 2 new locations in Barking and Victoria 🎂⁠

While juggling five sites, we sat down with Rhio and Sarah to learn about how the project has grown and evolved. We also heard from a few of the regular volunteers at Hackney Fixing Factory about the effect that it's had on them.⁠

We're only 142 days into the year and we have already reached the UK's #EarthOvershootDay 🪫⁠

If the whole world had the same consumption patterns as the UK, we would exhaust all of the planet’s natural resources for 2026 by today. ⁠
⁠
🌍🌍➕️ In fact, we would need 2.6 Earths in order to sustain this level of consumption. ⁠
⁠
How can we all be more sustainable? We need to invest in a real Circular Economy. While it's far from the only solution, by repairing and reusing our stuff instead of buying new we can reduce our impact on our planet.

We’re serious about repair, but that doesn’t stop us from having fun.
