Our team is the mighty Hemogoblins! 😈
If you are able to make any contribution, you're helping fund life changing research, better treatments, and progress toward cures. The science is so close, some amazing treatments are starting clinical trials soon. We are optimistic and hopeful.

Still processing the absolute joy of attending the WORLD PREMIERE of Mandalorian & Grogu

What an unforgettable experience seeing this film on the big screen after being part of the creative journey behind it. Projects like this are exactly why I fell in love with this industry in the first place — the imagination, the collaboration, and the challenge. Pure movie magic!

Huge congratulations to Jon Favreau for creating a Star Wars adventure that feels inspiring, heartfelt, and destined to spark creativity in the next generation of fans.

I’m beyond grateful to every incredible makeup artist and creative soul who shared this journey with me. The talent, passion, and artistry behind the scenes made this experience so special, and I’ll forever carry this project close to my heart.

More from Skeleton Crew!
Meet GLERB — a Quarren space pirate, aka Revager One. This character build was a fun design challenge, as our performer had to deliver dialogue through full facial prosthetics and a mouthful of tentacles. We ran the appliances in foam latex to keep it lightweight and flexible for performance. An added bonus was lifecasting and designing this piece for our talented colleague and creature performer Jacob Roanhaus.

Please consider STAR WARS SKELETON CREW when voting for the Makeup and Hairstyling Guild Awards for Children’s and Teen Programming!

Makeup & Paint: Cristina Waltz pre-painted the appliances and applied the makeup with Gabriela Quiñonez
Workshop Team:
Character Sculpt – Casey Wong
Molds – Helen Snell & Jen Grable
Brass Jewelry – Ian Goodwin
Foam Technician – Mark Vinnielo

For your consideration 2025 Makeup and Hairstyling Guild Awards. STAR WARS: SKELETON CREW. In Children’s television programming. What a blast working on this with such an amazing cast and crew. The team had to use all the techniques to pull these characters off. Always a pleasure working with such talent. This team was also nominated for the Children and Family’s Emmys this year! What an honor. Thank you! Have a great day.#fycmuahawards #starwarsskeletoncrew

We are 9 months into our journey caring for our sweet Ezra who has Type 1 Diabetes. It's hard to express the immense changes that have taken place post diagnosis. This experience has felt so surreal, as our life looks like it did previously, from the outside, but now we face so many new factors and daily equations to consider in order to maintain Ezzy's blood sugar levels. We don't always get it right, but we are getting better. We were blessed with optimistic spirits, but we must confess these past months have been some of the most challenging we have faced. Type 1 Diabetes can be frustrating, unpredictable, and downright scary at times. Today we are grateful to the scientist Sir Frederick Banting who discovered Insulin. We are thrilled about all the new diabetic treatments on the horizon. For now, each day is a new chance to get it right and enjoy our days together! 💙

Next up from Skeleton Crew:
Beef — what a character! 💥
This Borgo space pirate was inspired by (or perhaps a patient of 👀) the infamous Doctor Cornelius Evazan. Actor Dominic Burgess brought Beef to life on screen and was an absolute delight in the makeup chair.
When Alexei and I began planning this design, we knew Scott Stoddard was the artist to make it happen. Scott masterfully sculpted a four-piece silicone makeup — complete with Beef’s gnarly teeth and arm scarring — and led the application alongside Mike Ornealez, with support from Mike Mekash and Ian Goodwin throughout the season.
Our contact lens tech was Diana Hansen.
The molds were crafted by Ian Goodwin, Helen Snell, and Jen Grable, with all silicone appliances run by Crystal Gomez. All done in our workshop.
Topping it all off — Beef’s fantastic space mullet wig, designed and styled by Lane Friedman and built by Rob Pickens💫

SKELETON CREW!
A wild and fun Star Wars adventure where Alexei and I had the honor of heading up the prosthetics department. Our team brought a crew of alien space pirates to life straight from our workshop — and over the next week, we’ll be sharing some of our favorite characters.
First up: POKKIT, the cheeky Umbaran bounty hunter played by the brilliant Kelly MacDonald.
For this makeup, we applied a vinyl bald cap and an occipital back-of-head piece sculpted by Casey Wong and silicone appliance by Crystal Gomez. Hairstyle designed by Lane Friedman (@laneladylane) featuring a custom long-haired lace mohawk hand-tied by Alex Perrone.
Makeup application by Cristina Waltz and Gabriela Quiñonez, with help from Crystal Gomez.
Contact lens technician Diana Hansen @eskimodee

More to come!
