Today, the record labels and distribution teams at Secretly Group, Exceleration Music, Warp Records, Ninja Tune and Beggars Group have come together to announce a new partnership with @musicdeclares and the Music Climate Pact. Launching in tandem with World Environment Day on June 5, 2026, and dedicated to driving awareness around sustainability practices and transparency across both record stores and consumers, the inaugural campaign will feature a series of special edition album releases available at retail in the US, Canada and UK, as well as DTC, each pressed on 100% recycled vinyl material.
From Hella to Elliott Smith, Chuck Prophet, Black Country, New Road, Bonobo and many more, every LP was made with material that has been reclaimed from production and distribution: manufacturing trim, quality rejects and unsold stock, meaning that no new virgin, fossil fuel-delivered plastic was used. Through this process, each individual record looks completely unique, while still sounding as fantastic.
“As a signatory to the Music Climate Pact, Beggars Group is committed to halving our carbon emissions by 2030. Increasing the amount of recycled and reclaimed material in our records is just one of the steps that we are taking to do this. We are excited to be collaborating across the industry to mark World Environment Day with these releases,” says Ian Stanton, Head of Sustainability, Beggars Group.
In an effort to set a new and more sustainable precedent for catalogs to be repressed on reclaimed vinyl rather than the standard black or other colored variants, all records in the recycled vinyl campaign have also been manufactured at pressing plants that have shown commitments to sustainability, by participating in the Music Climate Pact and the Vinyl Alliance Sustainable Supplier Program.

@penguincafe_official’s The Red Book is getting the reissue treatment by @erasedtapesrecords as the album is set to arrive on July 17th on CD and Translucent 2LP Vinyl!
“Penguin Cafe continues to occupy a unique place in music: nothing else has ever sounded quite like it. Eccentric, charming, accommodating, surprising, seductive, warm, reliable, modest and unforgettable: it’s a true friend.” – Brian Eno
Erased Tapes are proud to re-issue The Red Book by Penguin Cafe, with an expanded vinyl track list which now includes the previously CD and digital only “And Yet…” plus two tracks from the limited-edition Umbrella EP. This new edition will be available on limited translucent vinyl and CD, both with updated art from Studio Torsten Posselt utilising the original drawing from renowned British sculptor and Simon Jeffes’ partner Emily Young.
Penguin Cafe was founded by Arthur Jeffes in 2009, bringing together a talented and disparate group of musicians initially to perform his father Simon Jeffes’ legacy of world-renowned Penguin Cafe Orchestra music, ten years after his untimely death in 1997. Following the release of A Matter of Life shortly after founding, The Red Book was released in 2014 to critical and fan acclaim.

Something More, the new album from @fruitionpdx, arrives on August 28th via @bloodshotrecords! Hear the single “Oh Well” today and pre-order the album now on CD, Yellow Vinyl and indie exclusive Sky Blue Vinyl.
From the band, “This album is the culmination of almost two decades of making music as Fruition. We set out to show the world what we’ve learned along the way both musically and personally, but perhaps more importantly the album makes a point to be honest about the things we’ve had to UNLEARN. So while experience may have helped guide us through the recording process, the truth of this album is found in kicking old habits, letting go of control, interrogating our motives and approaching each session with fearless, open hearts.
Tucker Martine became our sixth member as the producer and dream-actualizer of ‘Something More’, and his playful imagination and nuanced expertise helped inform a lot of the decisions we made on this album. We pushed each other, we supported each other, and we came together to make something intentional, something brave and vulnerable, and something timeless.”

Pure Devotion, the new album from @overmono, arrives on August 7th via @xlrecordings! Pre-order it now via the Redeye store on CD, Vinyl and indie exclusive Blue & White Marble Vinyl.
Overmono's long-awaited new album Pure Devotion lands on 7th August 2026. Marking the beginning of what promises to be a monumental year for the Welsh brothers, it's an album created by happy accidents, machine malfunctions, beautiful imperfections and the unflinching confidence Overmono have gained since their breakthrough as one of the defining dance music acts of the 2020s. Their 2023 debut album Good Lies, hailed by The Guardian as "UK rave history distilled to perfection," announced them to the world, and a string of collaborations with Joy Orbison, High Contrast, Fred Again.., Lil Yachty, and The Streets has kept them at the forefront ever since. All the while, Overmono have developed an award-winning audio-visual live show which they took to new heights in 2025 with landmark headline slots at Glastonbury and a sold-out Alexandra Palace. Across 2026, these songs will be soundtracking mass euphoria at Overmono's live appearances, with multiple US dates forthcoming.

Coming 25 years after its initial release and coinciding with the band’s 40th anniversary, Complete B Sides by @pixiesofficial has been remastered and is being reissued on June 26th via @4ad! Pre-order it now via the Redeye store on CD, Vinyl and indie exclusive Clear Vinyl.
Collecting all the b-sides from the band’s classic 4AD-era, Complete B Sides contains some of the Pixies best ‘other’ tracks including ‘Wave of Mutilation (UK Surf)’, ‘Into The White’ and ‘The Thing’ and until now, hasn’t been available on vinyl.
Originally released on CD in 2001, when the band were nearly a decade into a hiatus, Complete B Sides featured all 19 non-single tracks from the band’s unbelievable run of 1988-1991 singles - ‘Gigantic’, ‘Monkey Gone to Heaven’, ‘Here Comes Your Man’, ‘Velouria’, ‘Dig for Fire’ and ‘Planet of Sound’. To complete it, it concluded with the instrumental version of ‘Letter to Memphis’, the Trompe le Monde album track that appeared on the American release of ‘Alec Eiffel’.
For this updated edition, all the tracks have been remastered from their original analogue tapes by Kevin Vanbergen, sounding amazingly fresh, it also completes his extensive work across the band’s catalogue.
This new vinyl edition works as a companion piece to the band’s recent Live at the BBC compilation where designer Chris Bigg (v23) has created striking new art, taking photos from Simon Larbalestier’s archive that were originally slated for use by the Pixies but later shelved. Both long-term collaborators with the band, they worked on both releases in tandem to remember and honour the band’s late-visual director, Vaughan Oliver.
This updated version sees six live tracks added, culled from latter Pixies releases including 1997’s ‘Debaser’ re-release.

G̱amksimoon - Ḵ’ap Ha’yin is streaming now! Let it rip!
“Ḵ’ap Ha’yin - “flip over” in Sm’algya̱x is a song inspired by an event that many people in Prince Rupert remember, although it’s difficult to find any information about it. The riot of 1979 was a result of Ts’msyen people reaching a breaking point in terms of how terrible they’d been treated by the RCMP. That treatment extends to the present day, as police brutality against innocent Indigenous people’s remains rampant. Back in ‘79, there were only eyewitness accounts, and stories from those who participated. The song itself is inspired by someone who took part in the riot, breaking his friend & his wife out of a police cruiser, and proceeding to flip the car over with a mob of people. They flipped 4 police cars over that evening on 3rd Avenue in Prince Rupert. Historically, Ts’msyen have had plenty of “enough is enough” moments like this, going back to the riot of 1958, and during the early 20th century with the torching of Hudson’s Bay Company posts, churches, and the Skeena River blockade in the late 19th century to name a few. This song shines light on the brilliance of active Ts’msyen resistance to colonial oppression.” - Wil Uks Batsga G̱akaaw (Jeremy Pahl)
