The store opened Nov last year so it is only 6 months old. Myself and Ian are the owners. we have both been collecting records for 30+ years. As we are located in the basement of ChungKing which is one off Hong Kongs most notorious, iconic and recognisable buildings the name kind of fits.
Myself and Ian collect mostly 80s /90s hip hop, reggae funk and soul but both having grown up in England in the 80's we have a lot of 80s/90s British music.
The stores primary focus is sourcing rare, hard to find, limited edition and original first/early pressings spanning across all genres.
We also have a large number of music/film related collectables, memorabilia, signed vinyl and CDs, Retro games/machines, cassette tapes, video tapes (music or iconic movies related)
We do hold some new vinyl releases but usually only their limited variants
we have lots of signed records and CDs also

We just named it very simple by the styles we specialize: Vintage records. The word Dia Than means Vinyl so we also would like to be called "Hanoi Vintage Vinyl Shop"
What do you offer (styles, media, what else)?
We specialize only in Vinyl records especially Japanese Pressings but Equipments. The reason is that when I just collected some of my very first vinyl records in Hanoi, there were some vinyl shops, but they did not really focus on Vinyl / Music in general, they were selling all kinds from CDs, Cassettes, Speakers, Amplifiers, Turntables,... So I just founded my own store that put Vinyl on Top!
Anything you focus on?

We specialize only in Vinyl records especially Japanese Pressings but Equipments. The reason is that when I just collected some of my very first vinyl records in Hanoi, there were some vinyl shops, but they did not really focus on Vinyl / Music in general, they were selling all kinds from CDs, Cassettes, Speakers, Amplifiers, Turntables,... So I just founded my own store that put Vinyl on Top!

Thai aka DJ 2T represents RareJointz & Hanoi Concrete Brothers -- a local DJ, Cratedigger, Vinyl Collector -- I work at the store 10 hour per day by myself with love, passion & vinyl appreciation

And then I went to Jamaica! Jamaica has 5 record stores on The Record Store Map - 3 of these are in Kingston. Unfortunately I didn’t make it to Kingston, but I visited the other two.
Fist one seems to be inside a trailer. The name is Anthony Able’s Record Shop and I found it on a parking lot in Negril. Have been here a few times, but it was never open. Anyway, I liked the trailer, so I wanted to show you. You can see how it looks inside in his Instagram, check the post from February 17.
