For Rebundle:
• No detectable arsenic or cadmium
• Lead detected at trace levels
• VOCs detected; Rebundle was the only product without toluene reported
• No pathogens detected

We take these findings seriously. Lead is an environmental metal that can occur at low levels in plant-derived materials, and we are reviewing potential sources. We’ve already tested water used in production, now we’ll test the soil.

Independent testing and clearer benchmarks are long overdue in this category. We welcome the scrutiny and remain committed to transparency and continuous improvement.

Banana leaves or banana stem? 🤔 It’s a common mix-up, but our plant-based braiding hair is made from banana stem fiber—never the leaf. We extract the fiber from the stem, then blend it with natural oils and biopolymers to transform it from straw-like to hair-like.
