At the 1st of june I started as gardener and project manager of ‘A Regenerative Experimentarium’ a project initiated by @vestjyllandshojskole and supported by funds from the Nordea Foundation. Here I get to combine my recent experiences in agriculture in Italy with my background from project management in Copenhagen, working experimentally and scientifically with soil improvement: composing different kinds of compost, experimenting with plant symbioses and fungal mycorrhizae, observing bio-indicator plants and counting earthworms, while analysing soil samples and understanding the ecosystems and improving biodiversity both below and above the soil surface. I am working with local people and stakeholders, creating collaborations, meetings, seminars and events to share our experiments and experiences and creating a space for dialogue about the current and future conditions of farming.
It is an enormous privilege to have the time and resources to experiment, try out ideas and sometimes fail without having to be too concerned about the (economical) consequences.

KAOS – Pranzo della domenica a Serravalle Scrivia
Il 15 dicembre vi aspettiamo per un pranzo domenicale, con un menù a base vegetale.
Sei mani e sei piatti che raccontano la fine dell’autunno e l’inizio dell’inverno e che allo stesso tempo raccontano di noi, delle nostre vite.
Siamo tre contadini e vogliamo solo cucinare insieme. Da qui nasce KAOS, da qui parte questo pranzo e da qui abbiamo immaginato i sei piatti che cucineremo.
Passiamo molto tempo nei nostri orti e tra i filari dei vigneti e cucinare diventa il naturale prolungamento del nostro lavoro di contadini. Per tutti e tre, quasi una necessità.
Ciascuno di noi porta avanti a suo modo il suo percorso di contadino e cuoco ma questa volta abbiamo deciso di farlo insieme.
Per noi l’agricoltura e la cucina sono scelte anche politiche: un modo per prendersi cura del pianeta, della salute, delle relazioni, della comunità.
Quindi in un posto semplice e popolare dove mangeremo insieme in tre grandi tavoli sociali, brinderemo con vini sinceri e fatti solo di uva e faremo un po’ di KAOS perché un po’ di KAOS ci vuole.

KAOS – Pranzo della domenica a Serravalle Scrivia
Il 15 dicembre vi aspettiamo per un pranzo domenicale, con un menù a base vegetale.
Sei mani e sei piatti che raccontano la fine dell’autunno e l’inizio dell’inverno e che allo stesso tempo raccontano di noi, delle nostre vite.
Siamo tre contadini e vogliamo solo cucinare insieme. Da qui nasce KAOS, da qui parte questo pranzo e da qui abbiamo immaginato i sei piatti che cucineremo.
Passiamo molto tempo nei nostri orti e tra i filari dei vigneti e cucinare diventa il naturale prolungamento del nostro lavoro di contadini. Per tutti e tre, quasi una necessità.

Sei mani e sei piatti che raccontano la fine dell’autunno e l’inizio dell’inverno e che allo stesso tempo raccontano di noi, delle nostre vite.
Siamo tre contadini e vogliamo solo cucinare insieme. Da qui nasce KAOS, da qui parte questo pranzo e da qui abbiamo immaginato i sei piatti che cucineremo.
Passiamo molto tempo nei nostri orti e tra i filari dei vigneti e cucinare diventa il naturale prolungamento del nostro lavoro di contadini. Per tutti e tre, quasi una necessità.
Ciascuno di noi porta avanti a suo modo il suo percorso di contadino e cuoco ma questa volta abbiamo deciso di farlo insieme.

A life, a work and a lifework, in the form of a small regenerative vegetable farm wedged in between the endless vineyards and hazelnut fields of Asti.
