Right... been waiting for this moment for a while.

Almost a year ago, I received an email with a playlist of Sony Music India tracks, and I was asked if I wanted to sample any. Slowly, I worked through the playlist, and when I heard this vocal, I knew this was the track I wanted to work on. It took me an afternoon to get my basic idea down, and I chipped away at perfecting it for weeks after that. Fast forward 10 months, I finally get to share it with all of you.

This is a big one for me: it’s an exploration into my South Asian roots in a way I’ve never really done before, fusing it with the club sounds I love so much.

for a long time, i believed i needed specific people around me to succeed in music. these people often told me about how my music wouldn’t matter without them, that they were the reason for my success, and that i wasn’t cut out to do any of this without them.
