Rotten Kids són Dafoe (@real_dafoe) i Kinetic (@kinetic_____), dos DJs de l’escena electrònica barcelonina. Amics des de fa temps, la seva connexió va néixer molt abans de compartir cabina. Durant anys, un punxava i l’altre ballava, i aquesta complicitat ha acabat convertint-se en el llenguatge comú que avui defineix les seves sessions.

El seu so es mou entre diferents estils sense encallar-se en cap: electro, break beat, techno, IDM… Intentar comprimir-lo en etiquetes sería perdre’n l’essència.

Amb aquest projecte conjunt, Dafoe i Kinetic canalitzen anys d’amistat, música i nits compartides. El que passa entre ells no pot preparar-se ni assajar-se: simplement, s’ha de deixar que succeeixi.

Rotten Kids are Dafoe and Kinetic, two DJs from Barcelona’s electronic scene. Friends for years, their connection started long before they shared a booth. For a long time, one played while the other danced and that complicity eventually became a shared language that now defines their sets.

Their sound weaves between different styles without getting stuck in any: electro, break beat, techno, IDM… Trying to pigeonhole it on labels would be missing the point.

With this joint project, Dafoe and Kinetic channel years of friendship, music, and shared nights. What happens between them can’t be planned or rehearsed, it just happens.
And Ombra will be the witness.

Rotten Kids son Dafoe y Kinetic, dos DJs de la escena electrónica barcelonesa. Amigos desde hace tiempo, su conexión nació mucho antes de compartir cabina. Durante años, uno pinchaba y el otro bailaba y esa complicidad acabó convirtiéndose en un lenguaje común que hoy define sus sesiones.

Su sonido combina varios estilos sin estancarse en ninguno de ellos: electro, break beat, techno, IDM… Intentar comprimirlo en etiquetas sería perder el punto.

Con este proyecto conjunto, Dafoe y Kinetic condensan años de amistad, música y noches compartidas. Lo que ocurre entre ellos no se puede preparar ni ensayar: simplemente, hay que dejar que suceda.
Y Ombra va a ser testigo de ello.
