Coming this Sunday March 30 at The Regent, Country Comfort is an L.A. Roots Music Fire Relief Benefit. Doors at 3:30pm, show at 4:30pm

We brought together a slew of promoters in the City of Angels to combine their show-starting talents to bring some country love, honky tonk hugs - and hopefully a fistful of dollars - to those who have been tragically impacted by the Eaton and Palisades Fires and are really just starting to recover.

FireAid, assisted by the Annenberg Foundation, has already granted $50 million to those in need, much of it donated from two big concerts at the Intuit Dome and the Forum. Grants have been allocated to support a myriad of fire affected individuals including displaced residents, workers, small business owners and first responders, with a focus on essential services, food assistance, childcare support, critical healthcare resources, housing support, rental relief, student assistance programs, and navigation services to ensure victims can access legal resources, government benefits and seamlessly work through challenging paperwork. In addition, we will encourage donations to individual GoFundMe’s of friends in the roots music community victimized by the fires. And the fine folks from Altadena Musicians will be on hand with information on how to donate musical instruments to those who lost their treasures.
