Signal Interference is a couture dress constructed entirely from a repurposed vinyl billboard featuring Claire Kiester’s vibrant 2024 artwork. The design merges the rigid structure of military utility with the opulence of Elizabethan fashion, creating a bold, futuristic silhouette grounded in history and function.
The dress features a structured A-line shape, oversized utility pockets, and dramatic quarter-length bishop sleeves that extend into integrated fingerless gloves. A wide-brimmed visor, modeled here by Rahquelah Conyers, completes the look amplifying the garment’s utilitarian roots. LED lights, embedded beneath repeating AWL logo cutouts and installed in collaboration with @superdaftbros bring the garment to life on the runway.
Signal Interference is a high-impact fusion of craftsmanship, sustainability, and bold visual storytelling, transforming repurposed materials into a striking expression of personal style and purpose.

Conyers Beach Trip '24

It had been 8 years since I last felt the sand under my toes, and about 15 years for my family as a whole.

The addition of more little ones & seeing them grow, witnessing the love and light in their eyes as they look at the ocean knowing their protectors are right behind them is a blessing and a reminder that these moments aren't forever.

It's a reminder that healing and setting a path forward is intrinsic in these fleeting moments. When it is sought out and made intentional, it breathes a new air of trust, faith, and more love in ourselves and it surrounds the ones that see us as souls as vast as the ocean with love just as deep. I love y'all with all my heart and I always will 💜
