We're hitting the ground running with our friends at Libélula to put on 𝗗𝗼𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗵𝘆'𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘁 | 𝗔 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 on 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟳 at 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗢𝗢! in San Diego. This is a call for queer vendors, artists, and creatives — we want you to pop up with us!⠀

Vendor application is in our bio, and once approved, it'll be a $𝟱𝟬 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 to QLN that covers event & rental costs and supports our overall mission to empower queer and trans folks in crisis.⠀

ggggrimes' design celebrates gracefully vibrant queer identity, with hand poses paying tribute to the legendary Willi Ninja. Hand-drawn text and a pop-art color palette give it a bold, retro flair — an ode to queer expression, movement, and style.

𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁:
Theodoor Gabriella Malaika Grimes (they/he), working under the moniker ggggrimes, is a Black gender-expansive digital artist based in the Bronx. Entirely self-taught, their work centers lush, brilliantly colorful depictions of queer life, spirituality, and cultural identity — particularly within trans communities of color.

Theodoor describes their art as portraying queer people of color living beautiful, erotic, emotionally rich lives in the abundant world we deserve. Their illustrations are full of texture and detail: tattoos, body hair, surgery scars, patterns, blushes, and expressive eyes. Drawing from manga, spiritual iconography, horror, erotica, and slapstick, their work offers bold, nuanced storytelling across diverse characters and scenes.

But she's just a cheerleader — so this camp won't change anything. Right?

𝗕𝗨𝗧 𝗜'𝗠 𝗔 𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗘𝗥𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗥 (1999) is a campy queer cult classic that playfully torches compulsory heterosexuality, offers a dose of found family, and brings humor and light to a topic that has traumatized and shaped so many queer lives. 💅
