The Radial Sweep.

This basic bilateral 4 count riff, is as sweet, soft and silky as they come.
But don't be fooled by the sweetness; this sequence harbours a lot of crazy hard potential for strong posture and balance for one-legged moves or positions.

When you aspire grace in a smooth and gentle pace, allow me to suggest your go-to-exercise: 1 or 2 times a week, for the next 6 weeks; Evaluation in week 7; In week 8 addition of one element in difficulty for the next 4 weeks.
This regimen will result in your one-legged stability being catapulted to super level.

Soulful guidance.
I am the kind of trainer that
- puts mental and physical safety & well being of all trainees first and foremost, at any and all times;
- focuses on manifesting principles rather than patterns of movement, but uses a plethora of patterns to ingrain those principles;
- makes sure you will find your own oogie to add to the boogie;
- boosts your intrinsic determination to improve and amplify everything good about you;
- has the stupidest of jokes to anchor important learning moments, so they will stick with you till your last pulse;

There is only one important condition though, to fully benefit all of the above:
You have to show up and be fully prepared to go deep inside yourself and deal with whatever you encounter.
You may find some ugliness, but life is not a beauty contest, judging and giving you points on your interior or exterior (that is human BS behavior).

You will most certainly find untapped potential and doors that you didn't know were there all along; you can learn and adapt till your last breath.

When you really want something, a skill, a position, a situation changed, it all boils down to 2 significant questions:
1. How bad do you really want it?
2. What are you willing to do for it?

One size does not fit all.
And some sizes don't fit at all. Anywhere.

Trying to fit in? You will never fit according to other people's standards.

Learn to understand that and you will have less to suffer, no dispair, full autonomy, honest authenticity, and a whole lot of funky flair.

Seminar shizzle Part II.
From Drill to Skill is one of our ongoing seminar themes. There are still a lot of misconceptions and very ineffective ways of skill development in practice, which all can cause acute injury or progressive harmful issues over time.

Skipping the basics, and going straight into performance mode, usually doesn't end well. In martial arts, it's clear: you'll get knocked down or out or both; in fitness you'll compromise a joint or tear muscles and ligaments; the high repetitive nature of roller skating builds patterns and posture that - when taught ineffective - can severely work against the practitioner.

One day walking up or down the stairs and asharp pain in the knee hitting you out of nowhere, will not be linked to how you have repeatedly initiated that one cool move, but not safe and functional. Or how about burning shins and cramped up feet from continuously leaning forward and bending the knees, because your instructor told you to do so?

Counteraction:
1. Fire that knee-bend-demand instructor or run away like hell is on fire.
2. Book a ticket to our next seminar and save your health and your Soulful Journey!

You think I'm shitting you or exaggerating? Just ask around, I'm pretty certain folks will tell ya the funk, the whole funk and nothing but the funk!👊🏾

Better sleep. Better everything! If you upgrade your sleep, your rollerskating will also benefit from it. Resting is not a luxury.

@quadsk8 his book is almost finished. It turns out he wrote more then one! Keep your 👀 open for that if you love to read about rollerskating, living your best life and how to grow very old but not feel like that🥰❤️

Seminar shizzles!
I always leave unfinished, even with so many awesome responses from folks sharing during and right after a seminar, how much they have learned, finally understood certain body mechanics, changed perspectives on misinformed notions & ideas and got rid of aches & pains by correcting form of particular moves.

Afterwards I'm bothered by things I forgot to mention, I left out, certain cues I forgot, that I know for a fact will help in certain circumstances.

So October 2026, I'll have a chance to continue and complete our story live, same place, same time!
In the meantime, topics will be adressed elaborately in upcoming videos.

The Art of Letting Go
Give it up or turn it loose!
What you see in this video is a short example of a structurized drill, in which 4 techniques are put under pressure in randomized order. The ultimate goal is to shift proprioception to the highest level of alert and technical integrity into defcon 1 mode, by putting transitions, body control, rhythm, timing and safe footplacement of the 4 chosen techniques under intense scrutiny.
When under pressure, all that you are is put to the test.

What you see in this video, is not extraordinary, requires no special talent and is available to and achievable for anyone willing to put their heart and soul to it.

When you do the work, you will not do it the way I do it; you will learn to do it YOUR way.

For this, you need proper guidance; you need to let go of limiting thoughts, self-doubt and comparison to others;
For this I built a learning system.

May 1st, 2026.
Good news, bad news & sad news!

* Our seminars have all been incredibly succesful, inspiring and fruitful in many different ways.
Frankly, that's not good but dynamite good news!
Stay tuned for info on the next funky stop.

* At the same time, we see people forced to make hard choices due to the economic cascade as a result of today's incredibly sad state of affairs around the world.

* I Have been fighting for ten years to stay away from the economic ratrace, so that our services and passion-filled work could stay available and accessible to a broad spectrum of people from all walks of life.

It saddens me deeply that I lost that fight, which I knew would happen someday.
However, our beloved Es Quint patrons are already informed and they have all responded with support, warmth and understanding so far.

We have no choice to keep up with today's developments. I have laid out the framework I'm up against with the incredible Es Quint team and the importance of our community of Es Quint patrons and our physical skate dojo aka skate lounge aka training studio aka safe heaven.

My ever so beautiful significant other always knows how to bring in a sobering flavour to the equation :" Dude, it's only 5 euros, stop being such a drama Queen!".

OVERALL CONCLUSION: WE STILL ROLL HARD!

Effortless Energy
Amazingly Abundant Vibes.

This weekend was epic to say the least when @quadsk8 and @mariska_mbmcoaching arrived to deliver the latest serving of a Riffs and Routines weekender 😍

We were blessed with soul family from @esquintfoundation which is always lovely❤️

Yesterday was epic❣️
Today is going to be epic 2.0. We are ready!
We are so grateful for the big turn up (or is it turn out😬🤷🏻‍♀️) and we do not take that for granted.
