To bring them into balance we can cultivate and direct good qi (or life force energy) through our kidneys and bladder with this curative qigong move. Clear anxious thoughts and worry this morning with this organ cleansing move for the stomach and spleen. When out of balance, these organs carry ruminating thoughts, worry and anxiety. This move — when practiced repeatedly — will replace ruminating thoughts, with balance and centeredness.
Qi Gong is a 5000 year old Chinese practice and is the root of Chinese medicine / acupuncture. I have been practicing for two years and it has absolutely changed my life for the better. Even committing to 10 minutes a day can improve your overall health. It is saying yes to your whole being, creating a wholistic experience where your body isn’t left behind.

I just taught my first Qi Gong Class and this is how I feel!
Who wants to join me as I step into these uncharted waters 🌊 of teaching how to physically embody balance and peace through the practice of moving life force energy through your being?
Imagine how it could feel for you to bridge the gap between spiritual and physical. Qi Gong is a language for the body to communicate our needs, but if we are only listening to our mind, the body is never heard because it is never invited into the conversation.
When we only dwell in our mind (a part of us we have over emphasized for far too long as it’s not meant to do ALL the work of being a human) we lose a WHOLE body.
Let’s come back to a whole self, shall we? Let’s have a body that moves, creates, feels and guides energy, invites in the light and dispels the dark. A body connected to our soul and our mind as well.

Qi gong has become a daily part of my wellness regimen. My body has always loved movement, but I never considered myself a dancer. Maybe it’s because I can’t remember choreography; my brain gets things jumbled. However, I’ve always enjoyed dancing to the beat of my own drum.
I discovered qi gong last year, when I returned home to LA. I found teachers in @chrissheltonqigong@parisashelton and got my certification recently.
I find Qi gong to be the language my body speaks and appreciates, as it considers the whole wellness of my being; not just the spirit or the mind. Qi gong gives the body a voice; one that is directly connected to my body’s intuition. I’ve found it to be so important for me and I’d love to share it with you.
