After six amazing years of providing audio for the Pitch Black stage, we were invited to make the exciting move over to the newly redesigned @resident_advisor stage last weekend.
Working alongside the pitch core production team (@harveyogle) and stage and lighting designers @studio.raito, we were able to fly the PA once again while working within the circular stage design. It was a pleasure working alongside Colin, Tijs, Yunus and @brendan.harwood supporting the aural aspect of the incredible visual immersion they created in the space.
Another year down at pitch, and potentially the best one yet. We’re super proud of this one & can’t wait for next year!

This one’s been a long time coming, but we are so excited to have launched our new Evo 7 touring rig on one of the best dancefloors we have the privilege of supplying audio for, @strawberryfields_festival’s Deep Jungle stage last weekend.
We’ve been slowly acquiring enough boxes over the last few years to make this system happen, and are stoked with the end result.

Now that the dust (and caked on mud) has settled, we’re feeling grateful for our return to @strawberryfields_festival after five years.
Since our last install at the beach stage in 2019, we were super excited to take on a bigger stage for SF’s 15 year anniversary. The Deep Jungle stage has always been a favourite of ours, and working alongside stage designer @jamesmelani / @alter_place, integrating the system into the overall design was a massive pleasure. We ran both Endfire T and Compact Delta arrays for the F121 and F124 respectively to keep the bass away from the shipping containers behind them and reduce stack height, with the F121s operating asymmetrically from 40-85hz, and the 24s taking care of the oomph from 40hz down. We were impressed with the throw of the evo’s, hitting 85dBA at the toilets 100m away and still retaining intelligibility in the mid/high.
A highlight performance for us was @circleof.live by @sebastianmullaert, @sleepd93 and @kuniyuki_takahashi_music. A four-hour live improvised performance, needing only minimal overall multi-band compression on the system. The system was clear, open and effortless throughout the four hour journey, and we felt very privileged to have them working the sound-system over that time. With three different setups, Circle of Live was supported by 6 monitor sends, with an F218 under the table to provide some sub bass as the F124 Compact Delta and F121 Endfire T arrays were providing solid rear rejection.

Now that the dust (and caked on mud) has settled, we’re feeling grateful for our return to @strawberryfields_festival after five years.
Since our last install at the beach stage in 2019, we were super excited to take on a bigger stage for SF’s 15 year anniversary. The Deep Jungle stage has always been a favourite of ours, and working alongside stage designer @jamesmelani / @alter_place, integrating the system into the overall design was a massive pleasure. We ran both Endfire T and Compact Delta arrays for the F121 and F124 respectively to keep the bass away from the shipping containers behind them and reduce stack height, with the F121s operating asymmetrically from 40-85hz, and the 24s taking care of the oomph from 40hz down. We were impressed with the throw of the evo’s, hitting 85dBA at the toilets 100m away and still retaining intelligibility in the mid/high.
A highlight performance for us was @circleof.live by @sebastianmullaert, @sleepd93 and @kuniyuki_takahashi_music. A four-hour live improvised performance, needing only minimal overall multi-band compression on the system. The system was clear, open and effortless throughout the four hour journey, and we felt very privileged to have them working the sound-system over that time. With three different setups, Circle of Live was supported by 6 monitor sends, with an F218 under the table to provide some sub bass as the F124 Compact Delta and F121 Endfire T arrays were providing solid rear rejection.

Kicking off the run was our good friends at Homesick, putting on an incredible display of stage design & performance in an iconic space, The Thornbury Theatre. We ran a 2 over 2 formation with the Evo 7’s and two blocks of 3 in cardioid for the F121s, helping reach the mezzanine and reduce bass noise for the neighbours behind the stage.

Always upgrading year after year, and as capacities get larger saw our biggest Echo deployment to date, with 10x Evo’s a side on top of 4x F124 per side. One of our favourite events of the calendar and a must attend!

And lastly, Daybreak Festival. We were very excited to tackle the acoustically challenging space of an above ground, concrete-laden carpark and were satisfied with the results. Running a broadside cardioid sub array gave us horizontal directivity control with bass which was needed for neighbours close-by, and we were able to keep the dance floor at 100dB at 20m without getting noise complaints from neighbours <100m away.

Running a broadside cardioid sub array gave us horizontal directivity control with bass which was needed for neighbours close-by, and we were able to keep the dance floor at 100dB at 20m without getting noise complaints from neighbours <100m away.
