Pthumulhu move through the outer edges of sound, where doom, drone, and black metal dissolve into something wordless. The Icelandic band channels repetition and resolve into vast, drawn‑out forms that feel less composed than conjured. Their debut Tungumál Svarthola  (2024,  Kvlt  und  Kaos  Productions) emerges as both dirge and invocation – an exploration of gravity, language, and the point where meaning collapses under weight. It is music that builds slowly, as if unearthed by pressure rather than performance.

Across their work, heaviness acts as both structure and subject. Guitars expand into low, droning textures; drums ring through the mix like distant machinery; vocals blur into a guttural hum that anchors each movement in ritual intensity. The spaces between notes feel just as deliberate as the sounds themselves, creating an atmosphere where decay carries melody and distortion breathes. Beneath the density lies a strange luminescence – flashes of beauty that appear and vanish before they can be grasped.

Pthumulhu aus Island beehrt das Ebrietas mit einer ihrer äusserst seltenen Live-Shows.
Mit ihrem Debütalbum "Tungumál svarthola", zu Deutsch "Die Sprache der Schwarzen Löcher" - aufgenommen von D. von Mysþyrming - bringt das isländische Black-Doom-Trio Pthumulhu ein intensives, tiefschwarzes Live-Erlebnis auf die Bühne. Ihr Sound ist roh, dicht und von einer mystischen Atmosphäre geprägt, die das Publikum sofort in ihren Bann zieht. Die Mitglieder bleiben anonym – Man darf aber dem Tonmeister vertrauen.

Leaden Fumes bringen schweren Sludge’n’Doom im Stil der Melvins auf die Bühne, laut, dreckig und kompromisslos. Ihr aktuelles Album - aufgenommen mit M. Obrist von Zeal & Ardor - wurde stark aufgenommen und zeigt ihre rohe Wucht in Bestform. Mit Mitgliedern der ehemaligen Elektrohasch-Band Phased und Shows mit Acts wie Elder und The Obsessed wissen sie genau, wie man die Bühne zerlegt.

Tecnicamente però le radici del gruppo risalgono molto più indietro, dato che i musicisti sloveni suonano insieme dal 2010 sotto il nome Teleport. Dopo due album in studio e diversi tour europei, Siderean non ne ha ancora abbastanza.

Le camere di Kamra sono un viaggio con molte porte: si può entrare, ma forse non si uscirà mai più. Tre anni dopo l’affascinante debutto Cerebral Alchemy, il secondo album del quintetto sloveno, Unending Confluence, è implacabile, brutale, bellissimo e mentalmente instabile. La band ha aumentato la propria presenza dal vivo e non vede l’ora di dimostrare il proprio valore in tutta Europa.
