I am so happy to be a part of the body of artists and designers belonging to “La casa magica”.
In a show that evokes inherent mysticism and ritualism inside of home spaces, it felt befitting to speak of my own spiritual family, My upbringing in a house of Umbanda and the everyday magic that it is silently woven in the quotidian rhythm of our lives.
This body of work speaks of the kingdom of Jurema and of the sacred Mandacaru.
This is a small preview, inspired by this canticle of Chica Xavier - here sang by her granddaughter and my sister @luaxavier.
