🧬 The Molecule Manipulator 🤖

At times I get the feeling that I need to create something big, complex and challenging-something that pushes my current abilities in a way that regular projects don’t. After taking a biomech themed class with the legendary glass master @banjoglass I felt inspired by the teachings and energy I received there. From that I came up with this piece a variation that combines elements I learned from previous classes, along with techniques I used in an earlier biomech-themed work.
Overall it was a great challenge. I spent four intense days building it and during the process I experienced many emotions. This kind of work was originally what inspired me to start blowing glass, and after years of uncompromising dedication, I’ve reached a point where I’m able to create projects like this. That realization made me feel truly blessed and grateful that life has made this possible despite all the challenges I’ve faced along the way 🙏

For me personally however this is just another step forward in a magical journey. I still have so much to learn for the rest of my life, and I’m happy to face whatever new lessons glass brings into it.
I’m also very grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from many great masters of the craft. That is one of the main reasons I push and challenge myself so much because I deeply appreciate the knowledge they have shared from years of experience. I feel a personal responsibility to bring out the best in myself and honor what has been passed on to me 🙏❤️‍🔥

Zombie/Biomech Brontosaurus Under Attack by Two Bloodthirsty Velociraptors.

This was without a doubt the most challenging solo piece I’ve ever created. It pushed me to my absolute limits in every way. The idea came from @nicooertig, and I wanted to experiment by merging styles from upcoming projects into one massive, ambitious piece.

I knew from the start that this would be a tough build especially at this scale, but I was determined to take on the challenge. The process was slow, made even harder by recovering from an injury, but after two intense weeks and a brutal final stretch, I finally saw it come together. And after all that, the moment it emerged whole from the kiln was pure relief! 🙏❤️‍🔥

Another piece forged through my relentless grind, overcoming crazy challenges and dedicating myself entirely leaving my mark and legacy in Finnish and EU glass history as a lampworker in the far north.

The size of this monster is: 30cm in height and 35cm in width.

A little perc egg with organic elements flowers, leaves, mushrooms, molecules, and a tiny goat with proper attitude. I mostly used cfl color-changing glass in the decorative parts.
