The Evolution of Polo Shak 🎤🏆

Polo Shak’s story began in Queens, NY, making beats at home and forming his first rap group, Gemstarrz, by age 11. By the time most were still finding their voice, he had already touched stages across New York City.

Between 2014 and 2020, Polo performed over 400 shows, met countless celebrities, and built his name without a co-sign — just grind, consistency, and undeniable presence.

In 2020, he went viral with “Que Tú Sabe,” marking a turning point in his career. His record Love and Basketball later trended across TikTok, catching the ears of a new generation.

As his buzz grew, so did his catalog, releasing standout projects like: Untitled (2018) Who is Polo Shak (W.I.P.S) (2019) Repeat (2022) and Summer on Locc (2024)

Known for his bold style and raw lyrics, his Ksubi & Red Bottoms mic performance became a standout moment, merging fashion and rap with pure energy.

He’s been featured in over 10 magazines, awarded the iLL Thinker Award, and won Heatseeker Album of the Year, solidifying himself as a force with both voice and vision.

From music to film, Polo made his screen debut in Guns & Grams and is now starring in the upcoming sequel, stepping into leading-man territory.

Now, in 2025, he’s entering a new dimension with the release of Best Of Polo Shak: Jazz Edition; an evolved sound with the same soul.
