Antek Michnik o tym, że jeszcze sztuka (post)radia nie zginęła.Więcej niżkilka bliskich mi inicjatyw@radio_kapital jako główny ośrodek życia słuchowiskowego, @pointless_geometry wydawnictwem trzymającym rękę na tym pulsie. Wielu innych. W dodatku wspaniała rozmowa @iza_z_tych_iz z Ewą Guziołek-Tubelewicz - jedną z nielicznych kobiet w kadrze SEPR - reżyserką dźwięku. 🪷🪬 Miło to wszystko czytać.

The material was created during an artistic residency in Kenya and grows out of a fascination with the natural world and animal communication. Joanna collected their voices through field recordings and by processing samples found in digital space, shaping them into a lyrical–rhythmic structure where biological irregularity meets hypnotic repetition.
The title “Regina Silva” – “Queen of the Forest” does not refer to a specific figure, but rather to a state of existence beyond human interference. Many motifs—especially rhythmic ones—were created through the direct translation of animal communication signals into compositional material.
Joanna Duda is a pianist, improviser, and composer moving between piano, electronics, and analog practices. She is the author of the albums Keen (2019), Mouvements (2025), and Regina Silva (Pointless Geometry, 2026). She leads the Joanna Duda Trio, which has been performing at venues and festivals across Europe and internationally since 2017. Earlier in her career, she was a long-time member of the Wojtek Mazolewski Quintet.
