My newsletter dreams have come true 💌 On Wednesday, May 20th, I’ll be hosting my first in-person album art panel discussion at @publicrecordsnyc from 7-10pm.
I’ll be moderating a conversation between visual artists Craig Braun (The Rolling Stones, The Velvet Underground), Isha Dipika Walia (Lady Gaga, Caroline Polachek), and Camilo Medina (Divino Niño, WILLIS) about album art as a creative practice.
When planning this talk, my priority was to host it in a space where design is at the forefront, just like the artists I’ll be speaking with whose work spans generations, genres and styles.
The panel will be an intimate seated gathering of just 100 of us. Right now, a limited number of super-early bird tickets are on sale for $10, which are at the link in my bio. Once those are gone, tickets will be on sale for $15.
