I finally put together a reel for my work as a voice director. It's surreal to look at the great, talented actors I've been able to work with.

This is a fun post and one I thought I would never make. I spent some time in the booth in front of the mic for a @halo project! I’m used to being in the control room, but the fine human that is Jeff Easterling asked if I’d be interested in narrating the short story “Ghosts and Glass” for this anthology. It’s such a fascinating little story and I really enjoyed getting to read it. Hopefully you all enjoy it as well!

Hot tip: I got my copy from @librofmto support my local bookstore.

Side note: yes, it is incredibly intimidating to be listed with such incredible voice actors like @jentaylortown, @suzie.mcgrath, and @selmaleh. Amongst so many others. Phew, talk about being surrounded by absolute titanic treasures!

Diving into Miyazaki’s work and finding out that, what is essentially his first film, is a masterpiece is very exciting. I cannot wait to dive into more as I explore his filmography.

Doing revisions on a script is a constant experience of saying to yourself:

“Oh hey, that works!”
“Wait, why did I do that?”
“That’s bad.”
“Bad. Bad. Bad.”

“Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time!!!!”

And yet we persist in the hope of making it better, and telling a story worth telling.
