The first uncrewed test of the Aage capsule since PHROG I has been executed with exceptional results. The rocket launched from the IFSA facility at 05:32am on April 7 and completed 5 orbits around the Earth before performing an automatic re-entry burn to fall back down to Earth where is landed in the Salish Sea off the coast of Robert’s Creek, just 5 kilometers from the intended target. During the flight, our Mission Control monitored the capsule’s life support systems and all readings were normal. We also tested the airlock door and payload deployment mechanism, as PHROG II will require astronaut @blake.__.stewart to release a satellite from said door. Everything is looking good for launch in June.
Very excited for this new mission! Phrog II will deliver a classified payload into low Earth orbit to transmit a (temporarily) classified signal back to Earth. Astronaut Blake Stewart was chosen for the mission because of his EVA spacewalk experience. More updates to come.
