‘Homemade’ is out in the world !!

This was such a joy to put together, I’m so excited for you all to have it 🥹

Biggest thanks and love to everyone involved, you really brought these pieces to life 🥰

Produced and mixed by @sean_rogan_ , who also played various instruments (banjo, guitar, piano) - this EP wouldn’t be what it is without you !!

Mastered by @lismore_mastering

@therealg_lo on cello
@athenaoctaviaviolin on violin
@ameharw on clarinet and recorder for Spring Green
@josh_workin on guitar for Home / Away
Ali A Amir on harmonica for Lonesome Polecat
@fucalirth shruti for As I Intend

And I feel so lucky to have @elllaclayton and @sean_rogan_ sing with me on As I Intend

Hope you all love this EP as much as I do !!! 💕

My single ‘don’t wanna make u cry’ featuring the incredible @lusty_fran is out in the world now!!!

About 2 years ago I had the little beginnings of this song but wasn’t happy with where it was going, I’m so happy Fran got involved to change its direction!! Had a lot of fun together turning this into an anxious attachment style + avoidant attachment style duet :)

And enormous thanks to @seegz_production for production and mix, and @marsdenmastering for master- you made this into something very special!

This photo of me by @thedreamdispatch is great cause it could be anything- a prom photo, a memorial photo (Laura palmer style), my royal coronation photo, or just a fun ‘I’m an artist and please take me seriously’ photo. Very versatile!!
Lovely day doing this, I look serious but I was having fun and was very comfortable with Amy, thank you you star!! 💕

So it’s old news that I spent 3 weeks solo travelling in Japan this year, I’ve just been too overwhelmed by my camera roll to make a post about it !!

Anyway, here were the highlights for me + some other pretty things I saw:

1. Eating flowing somen over the rivers in Kibune (and then hiking over to Kurama after! My favourite day of the whole trip)
2. Senbon Torii (thousand torii gates) in Kyoto
3+4. Hiking the Nakasendo trail from Tsumago-juku to Magome-juku
5. Gorgeous bamboo forests in many places I went (this is the famous Arashiyama in Kyoto)
6. Seeing lovely moments like these guys on the Katsura river
7. Otagi Nenbutsuji, my favourite of the Buddhist temples I visited
8. Paper lanterns of different shrines at night, so beautiful
9. Exploring Gion in the early morning
10. Hanging in Kamo river with @oscarscull and fam on a sunny day!
11. Beautiful gardens of Sanzen-in temple in Ohara
12. The deer in Nara (I recommend not buying the biscuits to feed them and just watching them harass the people who do have them! Ahah)
13. All the daruma at Katsuo-ji, my other favourite of the Buddhist temples I visited
14. Visiting different shrines and temples in Kamakura
15. Heading up and over Enoshima island
16. Kegon waterfall in Nikko
17. Shinkyo bridge in Nikko
18. Saiko iyashi-no-sato nenba (a traditional village turned museum) in Kawaguchiko
19. Kusatsu Onsen, best and most relaxing way to end the trip
20. Matcha and milk soft serves !! Got me through a hot trip in June 💕

I had the most incredible time (as does everyone who visits Japan) , anyone who’s got a trip on the horizon and wants itinerary ideas hit me up!! ✨
