Introducing the next artist in our line-up…

@pasteupyork is an annual paste-up festival organised by local artist BOXXHEAD.

The event creates colourful paste-up collages on the streets of York, giving hundreds of artists from across the world the opportunity to vicariously travel to York through their art.

This year’s festival created several paste-up installations across the city, including
large-scale collages at @artofprotestgallery @sparkyork @yorkbarbican York (complements of Grow-Up Art) and Vandalfest25.

These giant collective collages are composed of artworks from over 200 artists from 29 countries and feature work from Grow-up Art, Carl Stimpson, Coloquix, D7606, Mr Edwards, Prefab77, Benjamin Irritant and many many more.

You can find Paste Up York on floor 3 at the event.

208 artists from 27 countries, two weekends of sunshine (mostly), and so many amazing conversations with locals, visitors, and fellow street art lovers. Your energy made this festival what it was — vibrant, welcoming, and full of creativity.

Massive love to everyone who visited, shared, snapped pics, and showed support — whether it was your first time walking into @artofprotestgallery or you're a regular, we couldn’t have asked for a better crowd 💛

What an opening weekend! 💥
We’ve been blown away by the response to the first weekend of @pasteupyork — hundreds of visitors, nearly 200 artists, and 27 countries represented... just incredible. A massive thank you to everyone who came down, got involved, and helped bring the city’s walls to life 🙌

But we're not done yet!
