This look was created for the Tribute Hair Pieces show at Battersea Arts Centre a super iconic venue.
bringing together everything I’m into: music, fashion, texture, and technique.
As part of the Bluetit Creative Team, we took inspiration from Martine Rose and the way she merges culture and style so seamlessly. My look draws from liberty spikes, rock ’n’ roll, punk, streetwear, and rap editorial energy rooted in Black culture and foundational techniques like braiding and African threading.
I reworked those foundations using nails to form the spikes, pushing tradition into something raw, modern, and intentional.
