We got our first RISO, a GR2710, in 2015 from a friend of a friend. We heard about RISOGRAPH Printing when we tabled at Short Run Comix and Arts Fest in Seattle in 2014, which sent us on a mission to acquire our own. We officially opened our RISO studio in
2015 (we’re celebrating 10 years September 2025!) and began our public programming, including workshops and print for hire, in 2016. Our studio has since been home to 11 RISO duplicators of various models over the years.

Favorite colors to use with a duplicator:
Jessica: Fluorescent orange, Burgundy, Cornflower
Justin: Light Lime, Burgundy

For us, RISOGRAPHY is more than just a printing process—it’s a vibrant, hands-on, and community-driven approach to making and sharing art.
