Students in #RSGCCooks (Senior School) worked with Chef Rossy Earle (@pancancooks) this week to make the famous "Viral Dumpling Lasagna" - think lasagna with wonton wrappers instead of noodles and dumpling filling instead of the traditional meat filling.

Rossy has worked with the Petits Chefs cooking club in the Junior School many times, and we were so thrilled to welcome her back to the beautiful @nellacucina kitchen to work with some students who were in Grade 5 when she last visited!

✨ Meet Chef Rossy Earle ✨

Born and raised in Panama City, 🇵🇦, Rossy prides herself in infusing Latin American flavours into whatever she creates, making it her goal to merge some of her roots into Canadian food culture.

With over 30 years under her belt, she has taught culinary arts, food styling & media, and food & tourism.

She has had a hand in several TV shows including work for Amazon Prime Video, CBS, Netflix, Magnolia Network, CBC and the Food Network as well as producing digital content.

She has also worked as a high-performance chef for @bluejays 🐦⚾. As well as the creator of two hot sauces including the smoky "Diablo’s Fuego" 🌶️ and it is seasonal and sweeter -but not less spicy-sister sauce “Diabla’s Kiss.” 🥵

These days, Rossy is freelancing as a chef 👩‍🍳, recipe developer, and food stylist in Toronto, and sharing her wisdom as the host of Kitchen Helpdesk on CBC Radio’s Here & Now.  

We’re very excited to have Chef Rossy back cooking with Cheffing4Good, reuniting in the kitchen to create something meaningful (and delicious). 

Tickets are available, and by joining us, you are doing more than enjoying a special dinner. Proceeds from ticket sales will support @nellies_shelter and @theredwoodto , two local shelters providing safety, advocacy, and essential care for women and children in our community.

Here’s to our 3rd Food for Thought Feature Chef, Rossy Earle!

She is currently working as a freelance chef, recipe developer, and food stylist in Toronto. As well as being the host of the Kitchen Helpdesk on CBC Radio’s Here & Now.

Our Feature Chefs are very generously donating their food, knowledge, and skills to support food security and Sistering’s Food Access Program. Each chef will be offering an appetizer comprised of affordable ingredients and will provide the recipe to promote skill building around cooking and demonstrate you can eat healthy, delicious meals at low cost!
