Exactly one year ago, I was standing at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial in Yerevan. 🇦🇲

It wasn't just a visit; it was the beginning of a deep, spiritual journey. Through the @culturemoveseurope program, I started an ongoing project entitled "We Are Our Mountains." Today, looking at these images, I realize that a piece of my soul remained there, amidst the eternal flame and the heavy silence of the memorial.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone involved in this residency—the people who opened their homes and their hearts to my lens. My brother Vahe always tells me: "Spyros, in the next life, you’ll be Armenian." On days like today, I feel that bond is already eternal.

Today, on this 111th anniversary of the Genocide, I stand in solidarity with the Armenian community worldwide and especially with my friends in the Armenian community of Thessaloniki. We honor the past, we witness the present, and we look toward the future.

My hope is to return next year to finish what I have started there—to continue documenting the light and the resilience of this land.

Exactly one year ago, I was standing at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial in Yerevan. 🇦🇲

It wasn't just a visit; it was the beginning of a deep, spiritual journey. Through the @culturemoveseurope program, I started an ongoing project entitled "We Are Our Mountains." Today, looking at these images, I realize that a piece of my soul remained there, amidst the eternal flame and the heavy silence of the memorial.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone involved in this residency—the people who opened their homes and their hearts to my lens. My brother Vahe always tells me: "Spyros, in the next life, you’ll be Armenian." On days like today, I feel that bond is already eternal.

Today, on this 111th anniversary of the Genocide, I stand in solidarity with the Armenian community worldwide and especially with my friends in the Armenian community of Thessaloniki. We honor the past, we witness the present, and we look toward the future.

My hope is to return next year to finish what I have started there—to continue documenting the light and the resilience of this land.
