We’re gonna fast forward to 2013 to a post MySpace world where Facebook was taking the lead and the heavy music scene was thriving with downtempo/beatdown bands. The deathcore scene was fading and bands like Overthrower and Traitors were coming out being stupid heavy and changing the scene.

Overthrower is THE band. Hailing from Texas, they have some of the sickest riffs thrown into the heaviest tuned guitars. These guys are angry and heavy and definitely know how to crush your face with a cinder block.

With only one release under their belt and a 4 year lifespan, their EP “Our Cruel World” is jammed packed with some of the meanest fight riffs. By blending deathcore and beatdown they bring you some of the heaviest shit that’s ever hit the scene!
