Jason Collins changed sports forever. 🕊️

When he came out in 2013, he became the first active male athlete in a major American professional sport to do so. That moment of bravery opened doors - for players, for fans, for every LGBTQ+ kid watching from the stands.

Jason passed away on May 12, 2026, aged 47, following a brave fight with glioblastoma. His legacy lives in every athlete who has since lived authentically.
