how much can a voice hold before it breaks? how much love can it carry?

@6_e_l_astrips everything back and pushes theirs to the absolute edge — breathing, cracking, growling, dissolving into electronics and back again. what begins as something intimate becomes uncanny: a set of “love songs” built from feedback, industrial drones, and raw human residue.

born from late-night shifts in a seoul karaoke bar — watching strangers sing themselves apart on CCTV while silently reciting “form is emptiness, emptiness is form” — Korean Love Sonnets turns isolation into intensity. the inner voice doesn’t whisper here. it roars.

tracks like Palaces in the Air and Union Valley Ll4 - Tiger’s Mouth feel less like songs and more like transmissions: fragile, confrontational, and strangely tender. beauty and discomfort blur. romance mutates. the human voice becomes something else entirely.

with contributions from Minhee Park (Haepaary) and Ian Mikyska, the album opens small portals within its dense, ritual-like atmosphere — moments where devotion, mythology, and distortion collide.

Korean Love Sonnets asks you to listen closer — to what we expect from beauty, identity, and each other.

At Source is a ritual in motion: a living collaboration where Caterina Barbieri’s modular synth cycles and Bendik Giske’s breath-driven saxophone assemble themselves in real time. Repetition here is not static but animated —mathematical patterns soften into something fragile and human, while the saxophone orbits the electronics, dissolving into circuitry or cutting through it with raw, bodily force. time loosens its grip, and the music unfolds as a continuously becoming present rather than a linear arc.

developed through shared performance, residency, and live evolution, At Source explores the liminal space between body and machine, precision and vulnerability. it is not a fusion but a productive confrontation: analogue synthesis and extended saxophone technique meeting at a point of mutual transformation. at once intimate and cosmic, meditative and quietly ecstatic, the album captures two artists working at the edge of their respective practices — finding, at the source, a world of sound that feels both essential and unknowable.

echoing this tension, Halo’s compositions evoke a sensory free fall, where gravity falters and light and sound flicker in uncertain rhythms. Midnight Zone is a sonic drift through the space between what we seek to extract, fail to understand, and must protect.

the score evokes the life that exists beyond our physical air bound capacity. the material features long, subtle passages of electro-acoustic ambient, drone and sound design, slowly flowing and unfolding with rich detail.

Kin feels less like a collection of tracks and more like a continuous emotional environment. Joseph @_kamaru_ blends field recordings, tape hiss, distant voices, and soft drones to explore ideas of family, lineage, and belonging, especially through a diasporic lens. nothing is rushed or dramatic. sounds fade in and out like half-remembered moments — is a trip that rewards close repeated listens as all the colours and textures, nuance and narratives unveil themselves.

we’re gleeful to announce that @jensen_interceptor_ ‘s new album ‘Interception’ is out today via his @international_chrome_ label and is available in all platforms and good record shops.

the album, his second long player following 2018’s ‘Mother’, is something of a state-of-the-nation that finds Melas consolidating several eras of his career, past and present, to form a distinct new sound that is the most experimental work he has produced to date.

“i really wanted to challenge and, i guess, prove myself in other spheres, to take my music to a new place. i’ve never wanted to be too repetitive and found that expectations, imagined or real, were forcing me to get stuck on a specific sound both in my productions and dj sets.”

this renewal is reflected in the title of the album, which eagle-eyed fans will note is the same as the first ep that was released under the Jensen Interceptor moniker, and the emotional and personal nature of the lp is likewise mirrored in the abstract impressionism of the artwork created by fellow australian, Brodie Kaman, the artist behind the visual look of Lady Gaga’s recent Mayhem lp as well as works for FKA Twigs, Nine Inch Nails, and more. the design—resembling oil drifting across a microscope slide—uses a mix of vivid pastels and moody darks to express the album’s emotional depth: a collection of distinct elements coalescing into something richer and more evocative.
