The Grand Opening Celebration of Orel Hershiser Chevrolet was EPIC!! What an incredible day and official beginning of our new dealership in Chino!

There are so many people to thank and so much work that goes on behind the scenes that the people who did the work will never get enough credit for.

First of all, thank you to @cityofchinogov, Mayor Eunice Ulloa, the council members and the entire staff of the city as well as @chino.cspr who have welcomed us with open arms as we partner together to help grow Chino and contribute to its prosperity. The MK Smith family has served the community well for decades and we will uphold that tradition.

Thanks to the @chinohighasb and @chinohigh.cheer, all of our vendors and partners who contributed to the parade and the party in the park. Thanks to the @chinopolicedept for keeping it safe and a great family experience. Thanks to @towerbuzzers, @espnlosangeles, @dodgersnation, @dodgersbeat, @la_baseballhead, @thehood.la, @sprinkleofgraze, @royaltycakes, @sipwithmoonlight, and so many others who contributed to making this event so special!

Thank you to all the friends of Orel who came out in support including Jaime and Jorge Jarrin, Mickey Hatcher, Mike Scioscia, Ramón Martinez, Pedro Astacio, Robert Horry, John Hartung, Miguel Rojas, Joe Kelly, and Joe Davis. Thanks to our staff at @orelhershiserchevrolet. Events like these take a village and it couldn’t have happened without everyone coming together.

Finally, thank you to the people of Chino, the IE and the greater LA area. This day was a long time in the making and it is all possible because of your support. We are humbled at this opportunity to serve the community and we hope that our Grand Opening shows everyone the lengths we will go to make sure our community is strong and set up for success.

Come on out next Thursday (only ONE WEEK AWAY!!) to Chino City Hall for an afternoon of fun as we celebrate the Grand Opening of the new dealership! There will also be prizes, giveaways, raffles, food, ESPN LA will be broadcasting live, Dodger Legends will be in attendance. It’s going to be a giant party you won’t want to miss.

Have you heard!!? Thursday, May 28th, Orel Hershiser Chevrolet will be holding our Grand Opening event and ribbon cutting!

Join Orel along with Dodger Legends Jaime Jarrin, Joe Kelly, Mike Scioscia, Ramón Martinez, Mickey Hatcher and JUST ANNOUNCED, Robert Horry from 11am to 2pm as we officially become Orel Hershiser Chevrolet.

@legends.attic will be there with raffles and giveaways, @espnlosangeles will be doing a live broadcast from City Hall, there will be live music and food vendors. It’s going to be a HUGE party you do not want to miss!

We have been so humbled by the outpouring of support from the City of Chino and the community already as we starting on this journey. We are here to serve the Chino Valley and the greater LA area and this Grand Opening is the official kickoff to our partnership with you! We are so excited to be apart of this community and support the continue growth and prosperity of the entire IE.

First baseball card I ever purchased as a kid was Orel Hershiser. I was lucky enough to meet him at a pro-am golf tournament in Pebble Beach in the late 80s. 20 years later… I was playing piano in a bar and he and his wife Dana came in and sat down at the piano. We exchanged info and kept in touch. He has now become someone that I would call one of my best friends in the world. He is the definition of a “class act”. He help me secure my first record deal, used my music, not only for his induction into the Dodgers Legends but also as his wedding song. Very happy to have these guys in my life.
