It’s official. I can have my cake and eat it too. At 56, I’ve statistically lived more than my sapien ancestors and am in the box on forms that doesn’t count as a relevant consumer.

I’ve always been slightly reluctant to acknowledge Woman’s Day. A silent protest to be viewed as a marginalised class perhaps? Which is why I’m glad the cynic in me gets silenced by the pragmatist. And I recognise how important it is to acknowledge those who live life on terms that defy social conditioning in favour of rules that are right. This is one such tribute. I hope you will agree and wish the men who make an unconscious difference a very Happy Woman’s Day. ☺️🙏🏼
