Here’s how I made my @neotropolisevent costume contest winning dress: The Mommy Board! It weighs 10lbs, has over 10k rhinestones, 500+ mirror tiles, 5 iphones, a razr phone, floppy disks, keyboard keys, working lights via Adafruit circuit playground and el wire, and a ton of circuit boards and other junk!

And thank you again of course to my SPACE WIFE @maximumclaire for all the help finishing this!!! This was a wild idea I had after seeing a runway dress by schiaparelli and I was just glad we finished it so to win something was next level 🥲💗

the concept of dressing up as vince gilligan characters and going to the tiki bar so we could be vince gilligan’s island 💅🏼🍹 no one understood what we were doing but it was my birthday and i wanted to do a silly theme 😹 everyone absolutely crushed the looks (walt shaved his head for this!!) and i couldn’t ask for better friends who will go along with a dumb bit with me. we had an absolute blast!!

the pianist noticed my outfit and started playing my song 😈🖤
we were just waiting in the grand californian lobby for our dinner reservation to be called and enjoying all the other disney music the pianist chose to play when he launched into the imperial march! he definitely noticed us enjoying the music (and there were actually some people there being really rude to him, it was wild to witness in person) and saw my darth vader ears and outfit so i love that he played this for me!!
our reservation was called before the song was over so i didn’t have a chance to thank him personally although i did go right into my app to say he made our evening so much more magical. if anyone knows him or sees him, please tell him he made my night!! ✨
